The Twisty Lake Camp Road

This is the Lake Camp Road, east of King Salmon, going toward the Naknek River. This road was built during World War II, by the military. It has been said that, when it was built, they deliberately made many twists and turns in it. This was to make it more difficult for Japanese Zeroes to strafe vehicles traveling on it.
