Lake Camp Road
Lake Camp Road, east of King Salmon, has been under heavy construction since late July. The original road was built by the military during WWII. This road connected the military base with two sport fishing camps on Naknek River.
Among the many people who enjoyed fishing here were two 5-star generals, General Dwight D. Eisenhower and General Omar Bradley. These camps were abandoned during the early 1970s.
