| Our ravens are known as "Common Ravens," but they are anything but common. They are large (from 22-27 inches in length). They love to do aerobatics on windy days, off the cliffs of the Naknek River - the windier the better. They often sit and visit with each other, as these two are doing here, on the roof of a setnet cabin. Their language is intricate and made up of a variety of croaking, clacking and knocking sounds. |
