Big Boat House, Pederson Point

The building to the right is the "Big Boat House" at the cannery at Pederson Point. The "big" refers to the size of the boats that were once stored inside, not the size of the building. This building is a well-known landmark. It has PEDERSON POINT, painted in huge letters on its roof. The name can be read for miles. The road leads to the beach and you can see the Bay beyond.
