The Qit'rwik

This is the United States Park Service's new boat, which is used to supply Brook's Camp. It is tied up in Brook's Bay, beside where the Brooks River flows into Naknek Lake.

Coastwise Corporation's website state that "Qit'rwik" means “sheltered place on the water” in the original Sugt'stun language of Pacific Coast and Kodiak Island peoples.
