Brooks River Footbridge

This shows the footbridge in winter. Park Service personal move it on shore to prevent damage from the ice flowing out of the Brooks River during spring breakup. This bridge is very familiar to the thousands of visitors every summer. It allows easier access to some of the trails, including the one to the famous falls, scene of some of the best bear viewing in the world.
