Naknek Packing
This was taken in the 1930's and shows Naknek Packing Warehouse No.2 and No.3, as well as the ways. The ways is about where the Delta Western's gravel pad is now. The two warehouses were used as storage. To the left (out of the photo) was the cannery building and then the Naknek Trading warehouse (which still exists). The three tugs on the ways were the Fram, the Frank B. and the Leader. These larger tugs were used to tow barges. The smaller monkey boat type was the Curlew. The Curlew is visible to the left of the larger tugs on the ways with the flat scows.
