South Naknek and Naknek, April 3, 2005

In the foreground is South Naknek. The photo is taken looking north across the Naknek River. The dark buildings on the upper right are the Bristol Bay School Buildings. Pederson Point and the Kvichak can be seen in the distance. There is still a considerable amount of snow on the ground, record-breaking cold temperatures, and ice in the river.
